Imagining Vision
encapsulating inspiration
Turning Elizabeth Gilbert's talk "The Elusive Genius" into a book cover that encapsulates her main message and experiences. Author Elizabeth Gilbert explains the pressure modern society puts on artists by treating individuals as geniuses, rather than adopting the view that creativity is a divine, external spirit on loan to a person. By shifting this perspective, she suggests that creators can protect their mental health from the anxieties of success or failure and focus simply on showing up to do their work.

The Process
Building the basics, research, research, and more research
After fully understanding and studying Elizabeth Gilbert's talk, I began narrowing down the main message to a single phrase "Free yourself and open your mind" and choosing two main concepts "Transcendence and Reflect"

Bringing it to Life
